There are many reasons people go to church on Sunday. Some go to praise and worship… they sing with the choir and love the performances. Others go because they like the pastor and the sermons. And still others go to church because they like the environment. They get to socialize and fellowship with church brothers and sisters.
But the right way to go to church is demonstrated by Jesus Himself when He said,
‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ Matthew 21:13
He said a “house of prayer”, not a house of shows or entertainment. And that’s the main reason we should go to church. Not to follow the band, pastors, deacons or to socialize. We must go into the church knowing we are entering Gods presence and into Gods sanctuary and know that He is there to hear us.
In this faith, the Universal Church is open every day, and all the Bishops and Pastors are in one accord to pray in the House of Prayer. We pray for you to have a new Spirit and a new life. When you receive a new Spirit, you will also receive a new life.
