Would you accept financial advice from a beggar? Would you take investment advice from someone unemployed? Would you ask someone sleeping under a bridge, how to purchase a home? Or course not. Not because you feel better than them or think they are not smart, but simply because you can’t see how any of that advice has worked in their own life.
Most people are wise enough to not accept advice from people who have no evidence in their life. But the million dollar question is, what about when you are that person? What happens when you are the one who’s life doesn’t show any fruit? Maybe that’s who you are before your family, friends or co-workers. You are the one that no one wants to hear advice from, because your life has no fruit. And the worst thing is that they know you are a christian. They know that you go to church and claim to believe in a great God. But without results, they will not believe in you nor your God.
The scriptures say:
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. Psalm 34:6
When you are in misery and troubles, instead of wearing a mask and pretending that things are fine in your life, you need to cry out to the Lord in your troubles. Don’t try to solve everything with your own strength, cry out to God. Ask Him to remove your shame and give you a life that glorifies Him.
But the only thing is, your cry out can not be just words. There has to be action behind your words. When you surrender your life one hundred percent (spiritually, physically, financially, etc) you will see what He will do.
You can go from poor and miserable to one of the greatest testimonies in your family, job, church, and anywhere else you go.
It may not feel good to hear, but remember, no one wants advice from the poor, but the successful demand attention when they speak.
May the God of the Bible Bless You
