Let me ask you a question… Why did the Lord Jesus Christ die on the cross?
Was it not to put an end to the pain and suffering that us human beings were going through?
Now let me ask another question… Would you pay for the same bill twice? Of course not. And why not? Because if it was paid for, you no longer owe anything for it.
This is what Jesus did on the cross, He paid the highest price. The reason He died on the cross was to give you life and hope, so you don’t need to suffer anymore. But the problem is, many people attend a church, they sing in the choir, they speak the church language, but their life is empty. When you look at their lives, all you see is misery, you see a picture of defeat.
The truth is, this type of faith is an illusion. It is like hiding before a mask. Just like Naaman… he was a captain, he was respected by all the soldiers and had an image of strength. But he was hiding a disease. Yes, he was a leper but was hiding his weakness.
God doesn’t want you to hide your weaknesses. God doesn’t need you to pretend to be holy, or perfect. What God wants from you, is for you to place your life 100% in His hands. He wants you to give up your old, broken life so that He can give you a new blessed life.
But the price is sacrifice. You have to learn to lose in order to gain. You must be willing to lay down what you have (which is nothing) on the Altar, and He will give you what He has (which is EVERYTHING). It’s your all for God’s all. That’s the way to truly receive a blessed life.
Are you ready to “worship” God in that way?
May the God of the Bible Bless You.
