“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold;” Genesis 26:12
Then Isaac sowed in which land? A dry land. If you look at the first verse of that chapter, it says: “There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham.”
Now think with me, lets say you were to take a seed and plant it in dry and parched ground; would it sprout? Would it grow? No, because it is impossible for dry ground to produce fruit… right? But remember that there is nothing impossible for God. Isaac sowed in dry land and reaped in the same year one hundred fold.
Why did he reap one hundred fold? Because he obeyed God’s voice and sowed.
Four things stand out:
1) He sowed
2) He began to prosper
3) He continued prospering
4) He became very prosperous.
Why did this happen? Because when you believe in the Lord and you sow your seed, the Lord will never be outgiven by anyone. God will always give you much more than you have given to Him. So how is your finances right now? Maybe as they say “You are broke”… But the Lord will restore and lift you up from that dry ground. So sow your seed. Are you in need of a financial miracle? Plant your seed and the Lord will not let you down. He will always return to you much more.
May the God of the Bible Bless You.
