I want you to read what the Lord Jesus said… He said:
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
You see, Jesus wants to give you rest. If you are fed up with your life and can not take it anymore. You are in desperation. You are overloaded with problems and say, “I just need help”. The answer is right in front of you… Jesus said, “Come to ME.”
The Lord Jesus will not force anyone to come to Him. That is why so many people suffer their whole life and never see a change because they are expecting Him to go to them, rather then them coming to Him. You need to decide to come to Him and give this broken life to Him so that He may fix it.
But some may ask… “how do I come to Him”? That answer is simple, to come to Jesus, you have to be ready to surrender your entire life. Body, Soul and Spirit. All that is yours… (your dreams, possessions, desires, etc.) become His. You have to lose your life to accept the blessed life that He wants to give to you.
The best word to explain it is sacrifice. You must be willing to sacrifice your life, your all, in order to receive God’s all. Then you will be able to truly have rest.
