Reading the Book of Psalms, we see a variety of prayers, poems, supplications, devotions, hymns, and songs that originated from this book.
Just like this one:
Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer;
And attend to the voice of my supplications.
In the day of my trouble I will call upon You,
For You will answer me. (Psalm 86:6-7)
He always does; He answers you, so this Psalm is for you. Perhaps today is your day of trouble. I don’t know you, I don’t know your situation, but God knows. That’s why it’s not me but God speaking with you.
Maybe you are there, from channel to channel, trying to gather some news, scouring the internet for something interesting. Then you got this message in your inbox, or someone sent it to you.
But here you are; it’s not a coincidence, an accident; no, God sent this message to you, to tell you, as King David said, “In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.”
If today is your day of trouble, you can call Him over there; it doesn’t matter who you are or the color of your skin or religious background.
Just call upon His name. You might say, but I don’t know how to pray. How to express myself.
I have news for you:
Prayer is no secret; just as you speak to A, B, C over the phone, friends, take a moment, close your eyes, and speak to God! Just simple words; this is what He likes. Just be sincere; if you don’t know what to say, just say these words:
HELP ME, GOD!
HELP ME, LORD!
He is going to help you.
Never stop praying, because the God who hears is the God who answers.
You are not alone; there is a team of faith available to accompany you in this journey of faith. You are welcome to join us any day, because the doors of The Universal Church are open every day. Call for more information: 1-888-332-4141.
