Have you noticed how quickly time seems to pass? One day it’s Monday, and before you know it, another week, month, or even year has gone by. Technology changes, trends come and go, and there always seems to be something new to learn or adapt to. Life moves fast.
Think about your smartphone for a moment. It feels like you just got it, and then suddenly there’s a new update, a newer model, or a new app everyone is talking about. What was considered “new” yesterday can feel outdated tomorrow. That’s the world we live in—constantly changing.
While change is a normal part of life, it can also leave us feeling unsettled, like we can never keep up. The good news is that God has given us something that never changes: His Word.
Isaiah 40:8 reminds us:
“The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”
Everything around us is temporary. Seasons change. Circumstances change. People change. But God’s truth remains the same. His promises are just as reliable today as they were thousands of years ago.
When life feels rushed and uncertain, we can anchor ourselves in the Word of God.
As the world continues to change at a rapid pace, let’s make time to stay connected to the one thing that will never fade away—the Word of God. It stands forever, and so do the promises found within its pages.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
