A difficult diagnosis, financial struggles, broken relationships, or moments of uncertainty can leave us wondering if anyone truly understands what we are going through. In those moments, it is important to remember one thing: God hears you.

In Isaiah 38:5 (NKJV), God says:

“I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.”

These words were spoken to King Hezekiah during one of the most difficult moments of his life. God not only heard his prayer but also saw his tears. Be comforted in knowing that your prayers never go unnoticed by God.

Think about a child calling out to a parent from another room. The child may not immediately see the parent, and the answer may not come instantly. However, that parent is already ready to attend to their cry. In the same way, God hears every prayer we pray. Even when we cannot see what He is doing, He is listening and working.

If you are facing a diagnosis, a problem, or a hardship today, don’t let discouragement convince you that your prayers are falling on deaf ears. God hears every cry, sees every tear, and knows every concern before you even speak it.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep your faith. The God who heard Hezekiah still hears His children today.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
