Imagine calling weeks ahead to make an appointment, calling out of work, and arriving 20 minutes early, only to be told that your appointment has been canceled. That would be quite frustrating, wouldn’t it? Of course, it would be chalked up to human error or a failure in a system. After all, we are all prone to making mistakes.
Fortunately, this isn’t how our relationship with God operates. Perhaps you’ve had this thought a time or two: that you go to church because you like the atmosphere, or it just so happens that you are the only one in your family to have a relationship with God. This isn’t the case. It wasn’t by chance that you met Jesus; He had and still has a plan for your life.
“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”
John 6:37
Perhaps lately, you have been questioning a lot of things, and things don’t seem to be going as planned, but remember that God does not make mistakes, and He didn’t call you to fail. He never cancels on you. Each moment when you turn to Him as your Healer, Deliverer, and Savior, He keeps His Word. Do not be discouraged; He has great plans for your life.
