How often do people go for a check-up and hear the following: “It’s good that you came in. We caught the problem early, and it can be treated. Take this medicine, and this problem will clear up.”?

On the other hand, how many people hear the opposite: “It’s at stage four and has spread all over your body. It could have been treated if you had come in earlier, but now we can do nothing for you?”

What could have prevented such bad news? Preventive care.

Nowadays, some tools help detect or prevent serious diseases and medical problems before they become major. This is precisely what the Lord Jesus wants us to do when He said the following:

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you are disqualified.  (2 Corinthians 13:5)

This can be seen as Spiritual Preventive Care; only you can do this check-up. How is your health, spiritually speaking? Are you making the time to invest in yourself? If you don’t, you will not be able to withstand the trials and tribulations of life! Material blessings, such as a house, car, land, or money, cannot sustain you! Only the Holy Spirit inside of you will safeguard you and your salvation.

What kind of faith do you have: a faith only for miracles or a faith to be saved? For as long as there is life, there is hope. This is my special invitation for you:

Visit The Universal Church for the Night of Salvation service this Wednesday.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
