When was the last time you went to the doctor and asked to see his medical license and degrees? Probably never. We show little doses of faith every day. We trust in a bus driver, a cab driver, the GPS in our cars, the person who serves us food at the drive-thru, and so on. We put our lives and health in the hands of people and machines without second thoughts.
It’s easy to trust in the things we can see right before us. Regarding our faith in God, we must also learn to trust without question. Many prayers have been made and petitions given to the Lord that were swept away by doubt, the enemy of faith. But look at the instructions the Word of God has for us:
“Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.”
Psalms 37:5
Commit to Him. Put your entire life into His hands without doubting. The plans you have for your life are safest in His hands. Trust in Him, and as the Bible says, He shall bring to pass the best in your life.
