Congratulations! You are the winner. What great words to hear. Who doesn’t love winning? Knowing that you’ve beat the odds, jumped over the hurdles, and overcome the adversities and made it to the finish line is quite an achievement. Unfortunately, not many can say that they have experienced this feeling. What many do not realize is that every day we are in a constant race to the finish line and we must all ensure that we are winners in the end.
“… In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
I’m sure you are familiar with the tribulation of this world. Perhaps you’re facing a few right now. But God is telling you to be of good cheer. There is a light at the end of this tunnel for those who keep running the race.
At times the tribulations, problems and battles of life may feel overwhelming but you are not alone.
The Lord Jesus also faced tribulations…unimaginable tribulations. But He overcame and gives us the assurance that we can too.
No matter what you are facing right now, you can overcome. You can overcome this health issue, depression, marriage problem and so on. These problems are only for a moment. Temporary trials for an everlasting victory.
Keep your faith and keep running. Your prize awaits you at the finish line.
