“We’re sorry, the number you are calling is unavailable.” Surely, you’ve heard this message before. It is frustrating to receive this recording when trying to call someone for an urgent matter. At times there is no recording. Actually, how many times have you called needing someone’s help only to hear that they are ‘too busy” or ‘maybe another time.’
No one likes feeling like a second thought, and perhaps that’s ow you have been feeling. Every time you need someone, it seems no one is around.
There is Someone who always takes your calls, but maybe you haven’t been reaching out lately.
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3
It isn’t about whether or not God has time for us. The verse clearly says, “call, and I WILL answer”. It’s about us calling on Him. That’s the first step. Maybe you’ve felt as though not even God is helping you, but He is asking us to call on Him. He can only intervene when we ask.
The great thing about it is that He’ll do more than we ask. Great and mighty things when we do not know. Things that we never even imagined and didn’t even dream of. Those are the answers you can look forward to when we call upon God. You will never get His voicemail.
