When do you know it’s time to replace something? When it gets old; when It no longer works the way it once did; when pieces have broken off; when colors have faded…
When something is old, we replace it for something new.
Maybe that’s how you have been feeling lately. You are filled with old problems, old traumas, old worries and you yearn for a new life. This is what the Word of God says about old things:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
When someone has a relationship with God, their life becomes new. There are old things that need to pass away. That old sickness is no longer yours, the old marriage problem is behind you, the old things that once dragged you down are replaced with the new. Only when we draw near to God do we have the opportunity to receive a new life.
God is preparing something new for you. Stick with Him, quit trying to find help in alternative ways – you won’t be disappointed!
