In times of trouble our first thought is often to turn to those we think can help. Whether that be a trusted friend, a family member, a spouse or boss. We look to those who we think have the answer to our problem. However, when those we depend on don’t have the answers that we need, where do we turn?
“Present your case,” says the Lord. “Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob.” Isaiah 41:21
What is your case? Perhaps a sickness, depression, an addiction, an overwhelming loneliness, family that is torn apart? Whatever your problem may be there’s no need to take them into this new year. Yes, a new year is approaching and perhaps you have been counting down the hours but truthfully you are not looking forward to anything. You simply see it as one minute moving to the next, a new day but the same old life.
It doesn’t have to be this way. At a Universal Near you, you can break into the new year in God’s presence, presenting your case to Him.
Present your old life and ask Him for the new one that you’ve longed for. No matter your case, He will always have the answer. Unlike presenting your problems to other people, there’s no doubt that God will always give us the right answers.
