Imagine if a very good doctors child was ill… And even more, imagine if that illness was something that the doctor knew how to treat… Do you think that this doctor would give his own child the wrong medication on purpose? Would he poison his child and intentionally kill him? No, never! He would give his child whatever it took to save him, because it’s in his power to save his child’s life.

It’s funny how some people think that God is the kind of doctor that would let his child die and do nothing. But they let the enemy off the hook, as if he is completely innocent.

You need to understand that every problem that comes to do harm to your life is from the evil one, not God. Jesus speaks clearly on this in John when he says,

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

When people look at your life, what do they see? Abundance or lack? What’s right or what’s wrong? Good or bad? What do they see?

What they are supposed to see is a reflection of the Good Shepherd who is directing your life. God is just. God is fair. God cares. He would never allow you to go through suffering and not be more than willing to help you. The thief, on the other hand, brings more problems on top of problems, in order to totally destroy you.

The only one that has the power to decide which one leads their life is you. You can submit to the Good Shepherd and let Him lead you to life, or you can give in to the thief and let him keep stealing from you. The choice is completely yours. And your actions will show what you choose.

May the God of the Bible bless you
