It has happened to the best of us: forgetting something important and having to go back to get it. There are some things, however, that no matter what, we will never forget. A mother, for example, will never forget her child. No matter where she goes or what she is doing, her mind is constantly on her child.
For those who are children of God, we also share in this privilege. We are never forgotten by God, our Father. Maybe you have felt this way before, forgotten, lost, or even forsaken. When problems come and you are in the midst of a storm, it is easy to feel alone, but you aren’t.
But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
And my Lord has forgotten me.” Isaiah 49:14
The Lord Jesus also asked this question in the face of His greatest sacrifice, but as we all know, He wasn’t. He was on His way to glory.
You are not alone. In the moments of your hardest battle, do not feel forsaken. The moment you speak to God, He hears you.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
