Nowadays, it is so easy to follow the ideas that lead us down the wrong path. The world so easily enters your home through a simple tap on a screen. With one click of a button, you can hear so many opinions and see so many things that lead you to evil.
You have certainly heard the phrase, “I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.” But this is very rarely true. What were you looking for in that wrong place? Why not put yourself in the right place at the right time? Why not seek what is good so that, when it is found, it brings you what is good?
As the Bible says:
“Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name…” (Jeremiah 15:16)
This is a prime example of “Seek and you shall find.” God‘s word was found by the prophet Jeremiah because he was looking for it.
When you read the Bible, you begin to have the mentality of God. You begin to understand the life that God wants for you.
This will not come from reading the Bible only during a church service or when a pastor tells you to. Having the mind of Christ comes from having a hunger for His word. Seek what God wants, and you will definitely find it.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
