Everyone is like a fountain. Yes, we all release evil or good through the words we speak. Depending on a person’s spirit, their advice can either lead others to do what is good or to do what is evil. From the words of a person’s mouth, you can test their spirit. Unfortunately, many have been led astray by following evil counsel. That is why the word of God considers those who do not walk in the counsel of evil blessed.

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,” Psalms 1:1

Of course, nothing good can come from a fountain that produces evil. So, the question is: Who is your counselor? Who do you turn to in moments of doubt? Who ultimately has the final say in your life?

Examine the fountain that you have been drinking from. As you enter the halfway mark of this year, trust that your Counselor has been leading you in the right way. The greatest counsel that we can have comes from the Word of God. Invest in His Word and ask Him to lead you in the path of righteousness.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
