“Until death do us part” are the famous wedding vows I am sure you have heard a thousand times—maybe you’ve even made these vows one day. The thing is, you are still alive, and your spouse is still alive, but you’ve ended up being apart!

Many don’t even try to figure out what went wrong or what they could have done to save their marriage; they just take that ‘No need to cry over spilled milk’ attitude and move on.

On the other hand, some seek to find out the problem and fix it for the sake of not making the same mistake in the future.
Over time and soul searching, they found evidence of mistakes that they made: not talking to each other, no longer doing things together, and they just grew apart in the end.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Where have you heard these biblical words quoted the most? Yes, you are correct, at funerals.
Do you know that Paul was still alive while he was giving this testimony? Yes, he was alive and well; he was in faith, fighting the good fight of faith; he finished the course and kept the faith.

This tells us that the good fight needs to take place here and now. You have a journey ahead of you. Life is a race, and we are racing every day. Some days, you win, and some days, you lose. It happens but keep your faith no matter what. You may lose anything, anyone, job, money, etc., but you must never lose your faith.

Keep your faith, the faith of reading the Bible, praying, and attending church services. Don’t allow your faith to die.

This must be your vow regarding your faith: until death do us part.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
