There are times when obstacles in life feel like fortified walls—strong, unmovable, and beyond our ability to overcome. It may be a persistent problem, a closed door, or a situation that hasn’t changed despite all your fighting.
The Bible reminds us that there were once walls that threatened God’s people, but they did not give up, and neither should you.
“By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.” (Hebrews 11:30)
The people did not defeat Jericho through force, but through obedient faith. They followed God’s instruction daily, and in His timing, the walls fell.
Think of something simple, like improving physical health. One workout does not transform the body. But persistence produces results.
Faith works the same way. God often calls for consistent obedience—prayer, trust, and action—before visible results appear. The breakthrough belongs to Him. Our responsibility is faith. When the walls in your life seem high, remember: keep marching because they do not fall by human strength, but by faith in God.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
