Many human voices command respect. The voice of the leader of a country, the voice of a doctor to his patient, the voice of a mother to her children. These are just a few examples of people whose voices make a great impact when heard. However, none of these people have ever created an entire universe, and none command the waters or are powerful enough to divide seas, but the voice of God is.
“Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.” Psalms 29:2-4
Who is stronger than the voice of God? Is it the voice of a diagnosis, or the voice of a judge, or the word of evil? The voice of God stands against any word and prevails. Today, the world looks for peace. Both countries and individuals are searching for everlasting peace, but it can only be found in God.
“The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.” Psalms 29:11
Trust in God’s word. Listen to His voice, read His word. Ask Him to open your ears and your understanding to receive what He has to say to you. Perhaps you have already heard so many voices, but you have never truly listened to the voice of God. Allow Him to speak to you, open your ears, and receive the life of peace that He has prepared for you.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
