Sheep are docile animals. They have no claws, horns, or venom. They do have one very powerful thing, however: undying obedience and faithfulness to their shepherd. Wherever the shepherd tells the sheep to go, they obey. Imagine not having to worry about your next step or where life will take you because you are completely entrusted in the hands of someone who can give you the best.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16
Those who believe in God were not sent to this world to blend in but to be His sheep, led by Him in this world. In a world filled with corruption, evil, and darkness, the light of God appears through His children. This only happens when He becomes our Shepherd.
To some, sheep may seem weak but when they have the right shepherd they are never led astray and they lack nothing in life. Make God your Shepherd. Have Him take the lead in your life. You will never have to become a wolf of this world for your life to succeed. He sent you and He will take care of His sheep.
