Have you noticed how a single step can change everything?
One step onto a plane can take you to a new country.
One step into a new job can rewrite your future.
One step into a conversation can lead to a lifelong friendship.
Life is built on moments like these—when you choose to move forward instead of staying where you are. And sometimes, the biggest change comes from the smallest step.
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)
Maybe you’ve been waiting for your life to change—waiting for the stress to go away, the loneliness to fade, or the doors to finally open. But what if your change starts with one simple step?
That’s all God is asking of you today: Just step toward Him. You don’t need to have all the answers or be perfect—you only need to draw closer to Him. And when you do, He promises to meet you halfway.
This week, take that step. Visit the nearest location of The Universal Church. Talk to a pastor. Open your heart. The life you’ve been dreaming of might be one step away.
