We use our words to communicate. Nowadays, we don’t even have to leave the comfort of our home to hear the opinions and words of others. There’s a saying that goes “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.”
However, Words surely can hurt. When the word is the word of a doctor who says there’s no hope for your health issue, or the word of a spouse who says your marriage is over, or the word of a boss who says you are now unemployed.
Be at peace because these words are not the end. In fact, the final word in the life of those who believe, comes from God.
“I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,”
Isaiah 45:23
God’s Word does not speak death, but life. It does not speak lack, but prosperity. It does not speak separation but unity. Everybody hears words in life, whether it be from a doctor, lawyer, judge, even a friend or family member that brings bad news. However, those who have an open ear for the Word of God are never disappointed. His word never returns empty, which means His promises will come to pass in your life. Take a hold of this word.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
