If at this moment you were to place your hand in front of your eyes, your hand would become your main focus. No matter what is going on around you, whether good or bad, your eyes would be fixated on your hand. That is how problems appear before us when we make them our main focus.
Have you ever had a problem that seemed to overshadow everything else going on around you? Day-to-day, your errands, any good news you may have received, and all of your responsibilities seem to be centered around that big problem. If we are not very careful, problems can easily become the center of our attention.
Any problem can be solved and any situation resolved; however, when we allow the difficulties to overshadow our faith, our trust in God, and the great miracles that He has done in our lives, the problem can appear bigger than anything else, but it isn’t.
Think back to the last time you saw God’s glory in your life. Then is He not able to solve whatever you’re going through right now? Stop focusing on the problem and focus on God. Focus on the good that He has done for you and allow your faith to bring you through this problem. Remove the blinds from your eyes and see the glory of God. When you do this, the problem will reveal its true size.—The truth is there’s nothing bigger than God.
“I cried out to God with my voice—
To God with my voice;
And He gave ear to me.
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;
My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing;
My soul refused to be comforted.” Psalms 77:1-2
May the God of the Bible bless you!
