“I’ll try my best.” “I’ll see if I can.” “Let me get back to you.” Or “Maybe. I’ll let you know.” Uncertainty is the last thing someone wants when they need help. If you were ever in a dire situation and reached out to someone and received these responses, you know exactly how it feels.

It’s like being in a bottomless pit, looking for an exit, only to find yourself stuck in darkness. Perhaps you’ve experienced this feeling before when you were in the middle of an illness, when you faced depression, when your family was falling apart, when you thought you would never get a job, and the list goes on.
Or maybe you are currently in a bottomless pit, and it seems almost impossible to find a way out, but rest assured there is one.

“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.” Jeremiah 32:17

Imagine asking the One who made the heavens and the earth for help. There would be no “I’ll try” or “If I can” because you know He can! It’s one thing to call for help from another human being and another to call for help from the Creator. Just as God stretched out His arm and created the heavens and the earth, He can create a solution for you. He can show you an exit from this bottomless pit. You don’t have to be stuck anymore. He is extending His hand; you simply have to teach for it.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
