In August and September, kids are being prepared to either start or return to school. In preparation for this event, parents usually personalize the belongings of their children—bag pack, water bottle, pen, pencil, etc.

This is done to help the kids identify what belongs to them. Many children will turn up with the same bag packs, water bottles, pens, pencils, etc. But, what will make the difference is the personalization of their items.

It’s the same when parents give names to their children, and some parents even get offended if you mispronounce their child’s name.

It makes all the difference, first and last name. Even on a doctor’s appointment. Hence why, the confirmation is done with your first and last name along with your date of birth.

It makes all the difference. For example, when a mother or father receives a gift from their child—when it is personalized, it makes all the difference. Even if it’s a small mug with the name printed, if it’s personalized, it makes the difference. It shows ownership.

It is so easy to personalize physical items and possessions. But when it comes to the Word of God, many people see it as far-reaching. Some can’t see themselves receiving what is promised. Take a look at the way Timothy personalized this blessing:

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work… (2 Timothy 4:18)

I have two questions for you;
 1. How many times have you read the Bible?
 2. How many times have you personalized the promises of God upon your life?

Timothy is no longer here, but you are here. Now, let‘s read the Bible verse again:

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work…

No matter what evil you are experiencing at this moment: sicknesses, marital problems, family problems, addictions…

Personalize the Word of God, use your faith, and see it materialize in your life. This blessing belongs to you; take it!

May the God of the Bible bless you!
