What would you exchange in order to have a life with God? Not for the blessings, the prosperity, the health, or the promises of a blessed family. I’m talking about a life with God and His eternal salvation. What is that worth to you?

Salvation cannot be bought for a certain amount because it is priceless. However, it does come at a cost!

“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.” (Mark 8:35)

Losing one’s life is not an easy thing to do. But this is exactly what the act of baptism is. It is dying to this world and living for Christ—losing to gain. Out of all of the valuable things you may have, God asks for your life. After all, we can take nothing with us in the end but our soul.

So, the better question is, how much is your eternity worth? Don’t shy away from this priceless exchange. What God has to offer is far more valuable than what we have to surrender.

In essence, we are giving God all our problems, difficulties, failures, and weaknesses in exchange for peace, security, and a determined future.

How’s that for an exchange?

May the God of the Bible bless you!
