Studies have shown that a lack of physical activity can lead to problems for the body, particularly in the joints and bones.

Those who are elderly often experience this after being bedridden for a prolonged period. Not moving about causes the joints to deteriorate if not treated in time; this person eventually stops walking for good.

Another example is a fractured bone in the foot/leg. Have you ever fractured a bone or know someone who has? You will notice the following: the leg that was fractured could no longer withstand the weight of the body, so the pressure was placed on the other side, on the good leg.

After a period of time, the good leg starts to get stronger, and the fractured leg starts to get weaker and even smaller than the good leg. Why? Because it was injured and no longer active (lack of motion), it became weakened. The strong leg became weak over time due to the injury and lack of use!

Faith in action is pretty much the same thing! It’s like a muscle, and it must be active! Paul was calling the attention of these believers (whose faith had been affected).

Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? (Galatians 3:3)

If your faith has been injured, it must be treated, or else it will deteriorate over time (like the unused bone), which will lead to additional problems. Get your faith the treatment it needs before it’s too late.

Join us tomorrow for the Bible Study of the Two Kingdoms; your faith will be rescued and revived! With an active faith, you will have the key to keep moving forward.
