If you’ve ever looked through a telescope at the stars then you can have an idea of how great God is and how great His thoughts are. When you look into the sky you only see small dots and may imagine the stars to be very small. But when you look through a powerful telescope that you can see the planets and may other things up close and you star to see shapes and details. It’s the same with God. 

When you look up to the sky, you see how high it is, It is higher than the earth. In the same way the thoughts of God, the ways of God are higher than ours. God doesn’t want to lower His standards, what He wants is to raise your standards to His.

I am bringing the Word of God to you. Maybe you are there on the other side of this blog post saying to yourself that God is far from you and that He doesn’t want to bless you. The truth of the matter is that your requests are so small compared to what God wants to give you. God does not want to give you a piece of a blessing, half of a blessing, God has a plan and God has His ways.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:9

The thoughts of God, the ways of God, the plans of God, the dreams of God are higher than yours. All you need to do is pray to Him and say “Lord, let your will be done in my life” because for now you want something, but God has something way bigger for you, yet you are there insisting for something so small. God see’s that what you are insisting on is not something He has planned for you so He won’t give it to you. You need to pray and say God I want “this” or “that” but let your will be done because your thoughts are higher than mines.
