No one likes uncertainty. Imagine needing something urgently and getting a response like this, “ I’ll see if I can.” Or “ Maybe if I have time.” It seems like it would be better to hear a flat out “no!” A lack of trust has become more common nowadays. A prime example is the use of contracts. Not too long ago, a simple handshake was enough to close a deal but today there needs to be signatures, lawyers, and witnesses before anything is official.
What ever happened to trusting in peoples word? Perhaps people were failed one too many times. It isn’t hard to imagine. We too have failed to complete our word many times. After all, we are human. However, God isn’t. What He says He will do, He does without fail. So when His Word says:
“… For I am the Lord who heals you.””
Exodus 15:26
You can be sure He will keep His promise. There is no uncertainty in these words. These are words that you can trust in completely. His word never fails and never returns empty. Is your healing physical? A pain, incurable disease, or generational illness? God can heal you. Or perhaps it is a sickness in your soul! Depression, anxiety, thoughts that tell you to end it all. No matter the sickness, God can heal you. He says so in His Word and He never lies.
