Now that the fireworks have stopped and a full 24 hours have passed. It’s day 2, and maybe the reality has already set in—it’s a new year. That means new challenges, and perhaps even unresolved issues from the last year. As this year begins, it’s easy to look ahead and wonder what obstacles might show up along the way. But the Word of God remains the same, no matter what this year may bring.

In Joshua 1:5, God assures Joshua that no one would be able to stand against him, not because of his own strength, but because God Himself would be with him:

“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.”

That same truth applies today to those who walk with God. Whatever challenges arise—uncertainty, fear, new responsibilities, or old battles—none of them has the final word. When God goes with you, you’re never walking alone, and no barrier is bigger than His presence. This doesn’t mean the path will always be easy, but it means you will overcome.

So step into this year with confidence. Not because everything is under your control, but because everything is under God’s control. With Him beside you, nothing can stand in your way.

Let this year be marked by faith. With God beside you, no obstacle is final, no setback is permanent, and no enemy can truly stand in your way. He is with you, every step of the way.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
