At some point in life, we all get ready for something or someone.
A study plan for a teacher.
A student must get ready for a test if they want to pass their exam.
A mother must get ready to welcome her newborn.
A husband must get ready to receive his wife.
Likewise, a wife to receive her husband.
Not to mention the wedding day: both husband and wife must prepare for the big day.
When it comes to making travel plans, we must also get ready so that we know how to dress for warm or cold weather.
If we don’t get ready, we can end up in an unpleasant situation.
Take, for example, going on a road trip; you need to get your vehicle ready for gas or updated service to avoid being stranded on a highway.
There is a Bible story about a group of ten ladies who planned a road trip, but five were wise, and five were foolish.
Look at their dilemma:
“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.” (Matthew 25:10)
The door was shut, and the five foolish missed the opportunity! They were left outside while the five wise were securely on the other side.
Your actions today will decide your tomorrow!
Where will you be found?
Take the time to get ready today, and you will be secured on the other side, The Kingdom of Heaven.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
