If you had a book that mapped out everything you would ever need in life: how to handle the good moments and bad, sickness, setbacks, relationships, and the list goes on. You name it; this book would have the ins and outs of it. What would you do? Would you simply ignore this book and leave it to collect dust in the corner? Certainly not! You would cling to this book because, every day, there would be something that you need this book for.
This book is already available. Actually, it’s been around for centuries, and many take it for granted.
“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3
Blessed is he who reads what? The Bible. The Word of God holds every answer in its pages. Perhaps you are thinking it was written in a time when half the problems that exist today were unheard of. But even so, it has the answers. There is no new problem that can arise that cannot be found in the Bible.
That is why it is so important to read the words, hear what prophecies it holds, and keep what you read. Maybe you won’t need everything you read there and then, but a day will arise when you need to draw on that Word. Let the Word be part of your daily routine, and daily, God will direct your life so His Word may be fulfilled through you.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
