When you hear the word ability what comes to your mind? You might say it depends on the subject. So let’s use an example; a salesperson that is so good, he could sell a cow its own milk. A basketball player that is able to score three-pointers with his eyes closed! An architect can draw out an entire shopping center without even having the measurements, and it ends up exactly as it should be. Do you get the picture?

Many people are recognized in this world for their abilities or gifts to do something very well, but with God, it is totally the opposite.

Look what the Bible says;

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

(1 Corinthians 1:27)

How many people are able to purchase an entire hotel for a family event, but this same person is not able to buy the healing for a family member dying from a sickness that doctors are not able to cure?

On the other hand, there could be a very poor person that has no condition financially but has faith that is active. He will see results without personal abilities. That’s exactly why Jesus said to many people, “your faith has made you well.” Because it was faith and not his ability that cured them.

When we go before the God of the Bible in faith and we use this faith, God hears us and answers us and transforms our life.

God does not depend on our personal ability, He just needs to see your faith. Then, no one will be able to take credit for what His power alone did.

May the God of the Bible bless you
