Have you been to lunch or dinner with a friend and this happened?—The waiter brought the check, and when you were about to take it, your guest said, “Don’t worry about it, I got it!”
What did you do? I believe that like any grateful friend, you allowed them to treat you because, in this day and age, every penny counts. You wouldn’t waste your time questioning your friend why they insisted on paying the bill.
What about this one: you are in the supermarket, completing your monthly grocery shopping, and as your final item is scanned, the customer behind you says, “Don’t worry, I got it!”
Would you insist on paying the grocery bill or accept the help offered? Again, in a day and age like this, I don’t see anyone refusing such help.
These examples are just a few that will give you a financial break and some savings. Now, what if I tell you that you can access much more than just change, dollars, and cents? Take a look at this:
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” (Matthew 6:31-34)
When you seek the Creator and not the creation, you will have access to all things; after all, He owns all that you need and much more!
His Word is more powerful than anyone in this world, so why not trust in it? You can trust the Word of God because it is He who is telling you, “Don’t worry, I got you!”
Only those who believe will allow Him to take care of the situation. Do you believe Him? Go ahead, trust Him with your entire life, not just part but all of it! Give Him total access, use your faith, and watch Him take care of You.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
