Imagine knowing someone for years, but they know nothing about you. They only know you by the things that you have done for them or the gifts that you have bought them. Is that really a relationship?

In the book of Luke, it describes two disciples walking with Jesus right next to them, but they did not recognize Him. Of course, they had heard of and even seen His miracles and wonders, but in that moment, they didn’t know Him.

This continues among Christians today. They have seen the wonders of God and experienced great miracles in their lives because of their prayers and faith, but they do not truly have a relationship with God. God‘s wonders are available to anyone who has the faith to strive for them. His power is not limited, and He answers those who call upon Him, as His Word promises, but miracles aren’t enough.

When the miracles and wonders have come to an end and problems, difficulties, and the burdens of life come against us, it isn’t a miracle that will strengthen us or sustain us; it is our relationship with God. So, perhaps you have seen His miracles and tasted His wonders, but do you know Him? This is the question we must all ask ourselves.
If the answer is no, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to begin to know Him and seek His presence. If the answer is yes, then continue to fight in your faith and invest in your relationship with the Lord Jesus.

“So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.” Luke 24:15-16

May the God of the Bible bless you!
