How many times do we let fear stop us from moving forward? Whether it’s taking on a new challenge, stepping out of your comfort zone, or standing firm in your faith, fear has a way of paralyzing us. But God didn’t create us to live in fear—He called us to live in courage and trust Him.

Think about a soldier preparing for battle. They don’t focus on the size of their enemy; instead, they focus on their training, their purpose, and their commander’s voice. The same applies to us. When fear tries to grip your heart, remember who fights for you.

In the Bible, we see an incredible story of courage in the face of fear. When David faced Goliath, he didn’t let the giant’s size or the fear of others discourage him. David declared, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear, will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:37). He ran toward Goliath, not because he was fearless, but because his faith in God was greater than his fear.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Fear does not come from God. It’s a tool the enemy uses to keep you from fulfilling your purpose. But when you trust God and step forward despite your fears, His power shows up. Just like David, you can face your “giants” knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord.

What is your Goliath today? Is it a difficult situation, an opportunity you feel unprepared for, or a fear that’s holding you back? Remember, you’re not alone in this fight. Take a step of faith and trust that God is with you.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
