Have you ever seen a tree standing strong through heavy storms, its leaves still green and full of life? No matter how strong the winds blow and the rain pours, it remains firm because its roots go deep into the soil, drawing the nourishment it needs to thrive.
The Bible tells us about such a tree:
“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3)
This is the image of a life firmly rooted in God. When someone truly trusts in Him and meditates on His Word day and night, they are like this tree—stable, unshaken, and always fruitful. The world around them may change, and difficulties may come, but they remain strong because their foundation is in God.
Many chase after things that don’t last—money, fame, recognition—but without God, they dry up like a tree in the desert. Their happiness depends on circumstances, and when the storms of life come, they wither.
But those who put God first, delight in His Word, and live by it, are never without strength. They are constantly renewed, always bearing fruit at the right time, and whatever they do is blessed.
Ask yourself today: Are you deeply rooted in God? Or are you easily shaken by the winds of life? Stay connected to Him, and you will never lack what you need.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
