The worst problem is when someone becomes complacent. When a person thinks everything is okay and goes into a comfort zone.
Often, God permits challenges to arise, but He is not the source of those problems. It’s important not to misunderstand this; God does not create problems. We shouldn’t say, “God gave, and God took,” as if to blame Him for our struggles.
Just like in the story of Job, it wasn’t God who caused his troubles—it was the devil! Remember, God allows these situations, but He is not the maker of the problems. However, God allows problems and situations to come our way so that we can be awakened and use our faith, as we have before.
I am not here to scare you, but complacency has led many people to hell, because a person got used to the Word, to a church, and is no longer doing the same thing, and goes into a comfortable zone, and this is what satan likes.
Nobody likes problems, and nobody likes a bad situation. However, when something happens, you pray more, you fast, and you seek God. But while everything is going fine, the wind is blowing in your direction and in your favor, you relax.
What to do to overcome complacency?
Pray without ceasing, (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Don’t be complacent with this problem; take a step back and think! Do you remember when you used to reject problems, bad thoughts? Do you remember when you used to pray every day?
Now is the time to return to your first works, pray, fast, and spiritually attack these problems.
Kick complacency out the door and go and enjoy the abundant life promised!
May the God of the Bible bless you,
