Imagine holding something made of glass—something special, delicate.
Would you throw it on the ground? Or would you place it gently where it’s safe?
That’s an easy one, right? You’d protect it. Because when something matters to us, we take care of it.
Now think about the people in your life—your family, your friends, even the ones who sometimes get on your nerves.
They’re like that glass. Your words, your tone, your reactions… they can either build them up or break them down.
Sometimes, just one angry word can crack everything.
But a kind word? A calm answer? That can fix what was broken. It can even build something stronger than before.
The Bible puts it simply:
“Let all that you do be done with love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14)
Love isn’t just hugs and sweet words—it’s choosing patience when you feel annoyed.
It’s biting your tongue when you’re tempted to snap.
It’s stopping to think: Will this build or break?
You don’t have to be perfect. Just be willing to change. Ask God to help you build, not break.
And next time someone throws their words like stones…
Be the one who builds something better with yours.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
