We have always been taught to communicate what it is we want. As babies, we discovered that crying indicated we were hungry, tired, or in need of attention. As we grew older, we learned to raise our hands in school if we had a question, and as adults, we now use our words to share our thoughts, needs and desires.

This all sums up to a simple fact: no one can read minds. We must be bold in asking for what we want, especially when we live a life of faith. This is what the Word of God teaches us.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

The Lord knows the deepest desires of our hearts. Yet, His Word teaches us to ask, seek, and knock. These are three actions to bless your life. When you express through your words what you need God to do in your life, He hears you.

Not only does He hear you, but He will give to you when you ask, reveal to you when you seek, and open the doors when you knock.

If you are not in the habit of asking, seeking and knocking, you are missing out on a world of blessings and answered prayers. There is no better time to start than today!

May the God of the Bible bless you!
