John the Baptist had baptized Jesus, testified about Him, and clearly knew who Jesus was. Yet, when John was in prison and heard about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples to ask Jesus:
And said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” (Matthew 11:3)
John had spoken about Jesus, but now, in a difficult moment, he had a question.
Jesus did not give John a long explanation. He simply pointed to the results.
“Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. (Matthew 11:4-5)
Results speak louder than words.
Words can be questioned.
Words can be twisted.
Words can be carried away by the wind.
But results speak for themselves.
People may not believe in you.
They may say this and that about you.
They may question your calling, your work, or your character.
Don’t waste your time trying to answer them.
Let your results speak.
Keep doing what God has called you to do, and keep serving Him.
When people cannot silence your results, they may try to question your words. LESS TALK AND MORE POWER!
Let the fruit in your life speak for you.
“Blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” (Matthew 11:6)
