“Nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.” 1 Corinthians 10:10
The Israelites were destroyed in the wilderness because they complained against Moses and Aaron and rebelled against God.
Their complaints did not change their situation— they delayed their journey.
What could have been a relatively short journey to the Promised Land became forty years in the wilderness.
They could have entered the Promised Land much sooner, but their complaining, unbelief, and rebellion kept them going around in circles.
Complaining does not move you forward; it keeps you in the wilderness.
Every time you complain about what God is allowing, you risk delaying what God wants to accomplish in your life.
