“Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.” (Psalm 55:17)
There are times when we call someone and don’t get an answer right away. They may be in a meeting, driving, or simply unable to pick up the phone. We might even wonder if they saw our call at all.
God is not like that.
Psalm 55:17 reminds us that when we pray, God hears our voice. He is never too busy, never distracted, and never unable to listen. He is not deaf to the prayers of His people. Every prayer offered in faith is heard by Him.
Sometimes we expect God to answer immediately, but His timing is always perfect. An answer may come quickly; it may require us to wait. Or God may answer differently than what we imagined. Whatever the response, we can be confident that He has heard us and is working according to His wisdom and His will.
Don’t let unanswered questions or delayed answers keep you from praying. Continue to seek the Lord morning, noon, and night, just as King David did.
Keep praying. Keep believing. God hears every word you speak in faith, and He is faithful to answer.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
