Some people are carrying disappointment, grief, financial pressure, loneliness, or silent struggles no one else sees. In those moments, giving up can feel easier than taking another step forward. But God reminds us that our strength was never meant to come from ourselves alone.
In Isaiah 40:29, it says: “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.”
Think about a phone battery that’s nearly dead. No matter how advanced the phone is, it cannot continue to function without being recharged. It freezes, slows down, and eventually shuts off. People can be the same way. You may be trying to keep going on empty, pretending you’re okay while emotionally, mentally, and spiritually exhausted. But just as a charger restores a drained phone, God restores the weak.
The wonderful thing about God’s strength is that it is only a prayer away. Weak, tired, discouraged, and overwhelmed, no matter what you are facing right now, don’t give up.
His strength becomes most visible when ours is gone. If you feel like there’s no hope left, remember this: your weakness does not disqualify you from God’s help. It positions you to receive it. The same God who created the heavens sees your struggle and promises to strengthen you.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
