Most things require preparation. Let me use the example of a mother (For all the mothers, I hope you had a blessed Mother’s Day).
No mother waits until the delivery date to buy clothes for the baby; no mother waits until her water breaks before setting up a room for her baby.
Sometimes even the baby’s name is prepared before the day of birth.
Road trips are often planned for summer break. The trip preparation usually starts long before summer break: who will drive, what will be taken, how long the trip will be, hotel reservations, and the number of rooms.
Talking about hotel reservations: Do you know that the Lord Jesus has a place prepared?
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:2-3)
This place is for those who believe in Him, not just with words, but in obedience to His Word.
