Are you familiar with traffic rules and regulations?
• You need a driver’s license to operate a vehicle.
• You need to read the driver’s booklet.
• You need to do a written test.
• You must pass a road test to obtain your driver’s license.
After all these rules and regulations, there are also guidelines.
• Do not text and drive.
• Do not drink and drive, etc.
How many people are in prison today because they did not obey the driving rules and regulations? This person was caught driving without a license, caught under the influence, or even caused a deadly accident.
It is crucial to obey traffic rules and regulations; by doing so, we will avoid the painful consequences! We will enjoy the benefits of driving to our destination without worrying about being pulled over and arrested for violating the traffic laws.
These laws were made by man, but are you aware of the Laws of God: the benefits of obeying and the consequences if you don’t? I invite you on a journey of faith. Please meditate on the book of Deuteronomy 28; you will see the benefits of obedience and the consequences of disobedience.
Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. (Deuteronomy 28:1-3)
It is a matter of decision: to obey or disobey? What will you decide?
