In Luke 15, Jesus shares three powerful parables — the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. Each story centers around something precious that has gone missing and the deep joy of finding it again. These aren’t just tales; they’re glimpses into the care God has for us.

When the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to find one lost sheep, it reveals a God who pursues us personally. When the woman sweeps her house to find a single lost coin, it shows the diligence and value He places on each soul. And when the father runs to embrace his lost son, we see mercy that refuses to hold our past against us.

Being lost isn’t the end of the story. In God’s kingdom, it’s often the beginning of a return.
No matter how far you’ve wandered, you are not forgotten. And if you know someone who has become lost, invite them to join you any time.

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Luke 15:8-10
